Dear Members,
I am hoping all of you are safe and well. We here at Shasta Chapter have been working on ways to have a fall plant sale. Our Propagation Team is compiling an online inventory of plants, and devising a way to connect with you and other buyers. We have a large and varied list of plants, cared for this spring and summer by our dedicated volunteers. You will be hearing about the details when we have a firm plan.

Right now is the time to go see wildflowers at higher elevations. One of my favorite summer outings is the short walk to Panther Meadow on Mt Shasta. The subalpine and alpine flowers there are blooming profusely now, and the views are spectacular. So enjoy the glories of our mountains this summer.

Stay safe. -Susan Libonati-Barnes, President
