Hello friends,
It has truly been an honor and a pleasure to serve our CNPS community as an officer of the organization. I am humbled to follow in the footsteps of the many great leaders that have preceded my brief time as president, going back many decades, starting with Don Burk, but also including Dave DuBose, and my long-time friend Susan Libonati-Barnes.
As I have now fully relocated to Oregon, I have my work cut out for me to learn about this area’s native and non-native plant species. I will also be looking forward to new friendships with folks in the local native plant community! However, I will always be in touch with my Shasta Chapter CNPS friends and family. I feel blessed to have known you all, and I’m going to miss the plant passion and dedication of the members of this organization!
