One the highlights of this year’s Northern California Botanists (NCB) symposium was the keynote address presented by Eric Knapp, US Forest Service research ecologist at the Pacific Southwest Research Station in Redding.  Those who heard Eric speak at a Chapter meeting last year will recall what an engaging speaker he is.  So we were very excited to find that Eric’s symposium presentation was taped for YouTube!  After the conference banquet on January 13, 2020, Eric presented his talk, Fire trends, causes, and consequences for the native plants we love, to a contented and appreciative full house.  Click on the title to watch the ~50-minute video.  Enjoy!
