It’s a brand-new year and I am filled with gratitude and excitement as I reflect on our shared journey as stewards of our native plant heritage. As your president, I would like to convey a heartfelt New Year’s greetings to each and every one of you.

Let us use the coming year as an opportunity to deepen our commitment to the preservation and celebration of California’s native flora and appreciate the role our native flora plays in our ecosystems.

I encourage each member of our chapter to actively participate in our upcoming events, share your knowledge, and contribute your unique skills to our shared mission. Together, we are a formidable force for positive change, and the impact of our collective efforts will echo through the years, leaving a legacy of environmental stewardship for generations to come.

Thank you for your dedication and commitment to the California Native Plant Society and specifically to our Shasta Chapter. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyous, prosperous, and plant-filled New Year!

Warmest regards,
Amy Henderson, President
