Shasta Chapter CNPS member and retired Shasta-Trinity National Forest botanist Julie Kierstead, and Luke Ruediger of Klamath Forest Alliance, were recently interviewed by Jefferson Public Radio. Although the show’s title only references the Slater Fire, which burned in Siskiyou and Josephine counties, they also talked about the 2021 Lava Fire on Mt. Shasta and the Carr-Delta-Hirz fires of 2018.
