In a normal water year, Shasta Chapter CNPS would be busy preparing for our major fundraiser, the Fall Plant Sale. Unfortunately, we have had to cancel it this year because of drought. In past years, we have made as much as $5,000 on this sale, thanks to all your purchases.
In an attempt to mitigate the loss of this income, Shasta Chapter CNPS has registered with North State Giving Tuesday. Organized by Community Foundation of the North State for the benefit of local nonprofits, North State Giving Tuesday is a 14-hour online giving event. This year it occurs on November 29, 2022, with early giving beginning on November 15.
We hope you will keep us in mind and look for us at this online event. Your donations will help us continue to do our work on behalf of California native plants: scholarships, grants for native plant gardens at schools, a Spring Plant Sale; and support for all the goals of CNPS. Thank you!
