The LeRoque Garden is an artist’s garden. Rose Powder LeRoque studied fine art at California State University, Long Beach. When she and husband Jeremy moved to the Bonnyview area, Redding, in 2011, they acquired an acre of good soil. Rose has created beautiful combinations of color and form, including both native and nonnative plant species. Her entomologist father would have loved the range of bees and other insects supported by her garden. -Susan Libonati-Barnes
