Future Field Trips: April 2022

Broad-leaved stonecrop. C. Harvey.
Things change so quickly in nature! Two weeks ago, this stonecrop, probably broad-leaved stonecrop, Sedum spathulifolium, was not seen on the field trip to South Fork Mountain Lookout Road, Photo taken March 26, 2022, by Chris Harvey.

Please join us for the following field trips, which will be co-hosted by Shasta Chapter of the California Native Plant Society and Shasta Environmental Alliance.

  • Sunday, April 3: Trail 58 (moderately difficult)
  • Saturday, April 9: Davis Gulch Trail (moderately difficult)
  • Sunday, April 24: Waters Gulch Trail (moderately difficult)

Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters are required to participate, heavy rain cancels, and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please contact me at cdharvey003@gmail.com to inquire further or to reserve your space on any of these field trips. I will provide meeting times, directions to the trailheads, as well as other pertinent information at that time. ~Chris Harvey
