At last, in-person field trips are resuming!  Three hikes will take place in March and will be co-hosted by our Chapter of CNPS together with the Shasta Environmental Alliance.  Please save the following dates:

  • Saturday, March 12 (South Fork Lookout Rd) ~4 miles, moderate difficulty
  • Saturday, March 19 (Upper Salt Creek Trail) ~3 miles, easy
  • Sunday, March 27 (Dye Creek Preserve) ~5 miles, moderately difficult

To reserve your spot and obtain additional information, please contact Chris Harvey at cdharvey003@gmail.com for the March 12 and March 19 dates.  For the March 27 date, please contact David Ledger at david@ecoshasta.org.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on the March 12 and March 19 hikes.  If, on the day of the hike, it’s raining lightly, bring an umbrella or other raingear.  Heavy rain will cancel the outing.  You must have received Covid shots and booster to attend. ~Chris Harvey
