It’s time for our spring plant sale at the Shasta Chapter CNPS native plant nursery! The sale will be held at the Shasta College Farm at 11555 Old Oregon Trail, Redding. We’ll be there from 9 AM to 5 PM on both Friday and Saturday, April 3 and 4. We will also hold our traditional setup and members-only pre-sale the day before.
Pre-sale setup
Thursday, April 2: 2 to 4 PM
Members-only pre-sale:
Thursday, April 2: 4 to 6 PM
Public sale:
Friday, April 3: 9 AM to 5 PM
Saturday, April 4: 9 AM to 5 PM
The proceeds of Shasta Chapter’s plant sales support all of our scholarships and grants to students pursuing careers in botany and conservation. Proceeds also support our Acorn and Oak Tree grants for starting native plant gardens at schools and other locations. Our grants program benefits native plant education for students of all ages!
Would you like to get to know the plants a little better before you buy them? Come visit the nursery on March 19, 2026, where we’ll host our March Chapter meeting, which is open to the public. Our nursery manager, MaryAnn McCrary, will give us a tour of the nursery at Shasta College Farm and provide a species list of every plant available for sale at our spring sale. You might even get to take some seeds to try your hand at growing native plants at home! (Please see Shasta Chapter Nursery Tour, March 19, 2026.)

Volunteers needed!
We are looking for volunteers to assist with tabling at the sale. That usually involves cashiering, help with set up and plant stock, as well as assisting customers and answering any questions they might have. No previous experience needed! Please let us know your availability by using this Volunteer Availability Form, or by emailing us at shastacnps@gmail.com. ~ Shasta Chapter CNPS Nursery Team
