2021 NCB Research Scholarship

Northern California Botanists (NCB) is accepting applications for their Botany Research Scholarship Program for the 2021–2022 academic year. All application materials are due by March 15, 2021.

Each year, the Shasta Chapter offers funding to Northern California Botanists for one additional NCB Research Scholarship. The recipient of the Shasta Chapter-funded scholarship must meet at least one of the following two criteria: 1) the research topic must be relevant to the flora within the boundaries of the Shasta Chapter (Shasta, Lassen, Modoc, and Siskiyou counties), with preference given to topics concerning rare species or communities; or 2) the student comes from the Shasta Chapter area.
