Melia Matthews, recipient of the Marlys Richman Memorial Scholarship in 2016, recently reached out to the Shasta Chapter CNPS to let us know that she had graduated and would soon be beginning a doctoral program.

Once the pandemic is over and we can meet again, Melia has agreed to come to a Chapter meeting and perhaps give a presentation on work she did on monkeyflowers.
