The 31st Annual Siskiyou County Mother’s Day Wildflower Show was, yet again, a marvelous success. Droves of nature lovers came to admire the hundreds of flowering California native species on display at the spectacular Yreka Community Center. Likewise, the Shasta Chapter CNPS tables stayed very busy. We answered scores of questions; handed out reams of info; and nearly sold out of plants, books, and posters. It was a wildly successful event!
Huge thanks to Klamath National Forest District Botanist Jennifer Iaccarino and her crew for all the time, effort, and energy that they poured into this event—it showed, and it was amazing! If you missed this year’s event, we’ll be back next year! Until then, be sure to check out the winners of the 13th Annual Siskiyou County Mother’s Day Wildflower Photo Contest! And of course, you can always visit the Wildflower Show Slideshows, which have a permanent home on this blog. ~Shasta Chapter CNPS
