On May 21, 2020, Marti Weidert and I made a driving tour of Marti’s area below Shingletown, along Inwood Road (off Hwy 44) and Ponderosa Way. We took separate cars (observing Covid-19 safety precautions), and must have climbed in and out of our vehicles 40 times! A weird kind of workout!

The flowers and creeks were lovely. We saw at least 25 flower species, just along the roadways. The following slideshow showcases some of the most spectacular. -Susan Libonati-Barnes
