Nearly 30 Shasta Chapter CNPS members and friends enjoyed a lovely evening at our annual potluck/picnic, at the home of President Amy Henderson, on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Attendees brought an amazing array of delectable side dishes to complement the main entree—we could have fed an army! Special thanks go to Amy & Brad Henderson for so graciously hosting us at their wonderfully eclectic home.

We were especially honored that our scholarship winner, Cade Harner, and his folks could attend, so that we could present his award in person, and get to chat with him a bit. We wish him all the best in his academic pursuits, and encourage him to keep in touch.

Unfortunately, our second scholarship winner, Sydney Cassity, from McArthur, was unable to attend the gathering, but she did send a very nice thank-you note.
