On January 10 and 11, 2022, Northern California Botanists (NCB) will present a two-day symposium titled Tools for a New Decade of Managing Northern California Plant Communities, in a fully virtual format. The symposium will include an exciting line-up of topics ranging from riparian restoration to eDNA to northern California botanical discoveries, a poster session, and a third day (January 12) of online workshops from which to choose. The symposium will also include keynote speaker Frank Lake, of the U.S. Forest Service, addressing Indigenous Knowledge and Ethno-Botany: Tribal Understandings and Connections of Plants and the Environment.
